Liverpool legend Alexei Sayle’s varied career spans work as comic, novelist, actor and columnist.

Clapperboard UK was delighted to host the Q&A evening with Alexei with Chair, Roger Shannon, Professor of Film in the Department of Media at Edge Hill University.

Alongside clips charting his film and television career, Alexei regaled the eager audience with anecdotes and tales from his life in the media industry.

Alexei said of the event; ' I'm looking forward to coming to Liverpool to show excerpts from and talk about some of the fantastic and some of the terrible films that I've appeared in over the years. And thank you to Clapperboard for giving me this opportunity'
