participate in the public debates on guns, knives and gangs is absolutely key in
making them part of the solution to those problems.Too often, young people are
seen merely as part the problem - and it is young people like those who have taken
part in this programme who can help change that perception.”

"This project connects creativity and education in a very powerful and thought
provoking way. It is engaging young people in the debate on gun crime and using
their own words and ideas to create a film that will be a unique learning experience
for many of them. It will drive home the message that gun crime isn't glamorous,
it is a blight on society and we have to be very proud of every child taking part in
this project and the professionals that are there to support them."
