AWAYDAYS screening a smash success!

Dave Hughes and Kevin Sampson attended a special Clapperboard Presents screening of their film AwayDays at PictureHouse@Fact on Monday 20th February 2012.

The two men also participated in a Question and Answer session with the audience after the screening.

All money raised from the fundraiser is used to further the many charitable projects of ClapperboardUK.

About The Film…

AWAYDAYS, is a 2009 British film directed by Pat Holden, produced by Dave Hughes and stars Nicky Bell, Liam Boyle, Stephen Graham, Holliday Grainger, Oliver Lee, Rebecca Atkinson and Sasha Parkinson. The film, made on location on Merseyside, is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Kevin Sampson.   Writer, Kevin Sampson said.. "Red Union Films is excited to be working with Clapperboard on this special presentation of Awaydays. Both Dave and myself are long-time admirers of Clapperboard's work in the local community and beyond, channelling the creativity of young people and helping take those first critical steps to fulfilling their aspirations.
