Merseyside actor Mark Womack will head home for a charity screening of Ken Loach's feature film Route Irish. 

He is among cast members who will be in attendance when the Liverpool-made Iraq war film is shown at Picturehouse at FACT later this month. 

Mark, who plays ex-SAS soldier Fergus, said "it is a real privilege to be asked to be part of the screening".

Route Irish will be shown at 6.45pm on Monday, May 28, at Picturehouse at Fact, in Wood Street.
